The historic Michigan State-Michigan football rivalry shows how hard Michiganders are willing to fight for what they care about. When Michigan ranks last in the Big Ten in child well-being, it’s clear that kids are getting benched when they should be calling the plays in policy debates that affect their lives. We launched the Kids Cup Challenge because we need you to “go long” and donate to help Michigan’s children get ahead. Your support will help execute our legislative gameplan:
1. Expanding “Early On” screening of every child for developmental needs
2. Assuring every child in foster care has a voice in decisions that affect their lives
3. Expanding access to enriching afterschool and summer learning programs
4. Engaging families as lead partners in their child’s growth and in policy advocacy
