Help The Children.
Dear Friend of Children:
It's an act of faith and hope. Whenever you sit down to write a check to an organization, cause or charity, you want to personally effect change. And you trust that your donation will be used wisely and well to help others who are less able to help themselves.
At Michigan's Children, we invite you to join us in taking action on behalf of children all across the state. Every day, we give voice to critical needs of children and youth - and assure that policymakers listen.
How do we do this? As a nonpartisan advocacy organization funded independently of government, we work inside the state Capitol and in communities throughout Michigan for policies that safeguard the health and well-being of children.
Right now, Michigan's Children is working with the Legislature and other nonprofit groups to:
-
Prevent child abuse and neglect, improve access to high-quality early learning programs, and support families with young children through parenting education.
-
Help at-risk teens successfully transition to adulthood through community partnerships that provide education, employment, and other services.
-
Eliminate racial disparities in children's health through public programs to reduce infant mortality and prevent conditions such as obesity and diabetes, which disproportionately affect more children of color.
Won't you please help us to help them?
A donation to Michigan's Children enables us to continue advocating for programs that provide for the basic human needs of children throughout the state - the right start, a safe home, good health, an opportunity to learn, an equitable chance to succeed. We have a lot of work to do.
By adding your voice to ours, we can help many more children to truly flourish so that they can one day realize their full talents and potential.
Your contribution says you believe in children and want to give them a precious gift: Hope for the future. Please help us to inspire this hope.
