There were several Youth Voice Changing Public Policy Events that were held in Wayne County over the course of the years. They are listed in order of occurence, with the most recent event listed first. On May 3, 2010, Michigan's Children sponsored a youth voices event with Asher Community Education Center who also hosted Allen Park Community Schools, Downriver High School, Titan Alternative School, Romulus Community High School, Starkweather Alternative High School, and Cambridge High School to showcase their innovative drop out prevention programs. On Januray 18, 2008, Michigan's Children partnered with Youthville Detroit and City Connect Detroit to highlight the challenges and opportunities Youthville participants had in the various high schools they were attending throughout the city. On September 17, 2007, Michigan's Children partnered with Wayne County Community College District's Downtown Campus to showcase the educational challenges of foster care youth from around the city.
