Michigan’s Children’s Heroes at Sunrise is an annual event that celebrates individuals and corporations who, through their involvement in the community, support children, families and our organization, Michigan’s Children. The concern, interest and actions of the honorees demonstrate their genuine commitment to the children of our state.
Heroes at Sunrise also provides Michigan’s Children with the opportunity to raise awareness with the business community and the public while raising funds to support its work as the voice for children.
 
On May 17, 2011, we commemorated our 8th annual celebration of Heroes for Michigan's children by honoring champions of children's health at the Heroes at Sunrise breakfast at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
