Public Act 120 of 2006 (SB 329) Early Intervention Grant Program (Cassis) Establishes a grant program for early intervention programs and allows certain funds for small class size to be used for early intervention programs. Effective 4/14/06.

Public Act 121 of 2006 (SB 330) Early Intervention Programs (Kuipers) Requires a percentage of at-risk funds to be used for early intervention programs in districts with a learning-disabled population above state average. Effective 4/14/06.

Public Act 580 of 2006 (HB 6174) Background Checks (Schuitmaker) Requires that criminal history checks and criminal record checks for child care providers be performed only once if the person remains licensed continuously and is required to follow school code procedures if provider is operating in a school.  Signed 12/30/06; Effective 12/30/06.
